Description
This course with Prof. Dr. Arnold Weissman focuses on the family constitution as a central management tool for family businesses. Participants learn how to reconcile corporate and individual interests in a sustainable manner and thus ensure the future viability of the company. The course shows why long-term success can only be achieved if the company’s well-being is placed above individual interests – and how exactly this can be achieved in practice.
Key topics include the importance of transparency, especially in times of crisis, and the responsible use of equity. Prof. Weissman explains how family constitutions serve as a reflection of shared values and provide an effective basis for intergenerational cooperation and conflict avoidance.
