Description
In this course, Prof. Dr. Arnold Weissman shows the central role that advisory boards play in family businesses – not only as a supervisory body, but also as strategic partners, sparring partners for management and guardians of sustainable corporate value. The course is aimed at business families and advisory board members who want to professionalize their committee work and make it effective.
Participants learn about practical tools for strategic planning (including the 7-3-1 principle), value-oriented corporate management and the development of sustainable business models using the Business Model Canvas. Other focal points are the establishment of an effective advisory board structure, the definition of clear roles and the importance of a shared value system for trusting cooperation.
A modern advisory board does not see itself as an “administrator of the past”, but as a shaper of the future – with strategic expertise in organization, management and governance.
